avengers endgame film evaluation

Avengers Endgame is one of my favourite films, at the very start it shows hawkeye with his family and he is teaching his daughter how to use a bow, he turns away for a second and when he turns back around they are gone, he doesn’t know what happened but it’s set up like this because most likely all of the viewers know the reason because of the previous film.

It then cuts to a spaceship in the middle of space playing faint music and then it cuts to the inside of the ship where it shows Tony Stark and Nebula trying to survive after the events of the last film, in the ship you can notice that the music is now louder as we are now inside of the ship and this allows the viewer to feel like they are there too, this is a good use of a cut because it swiftly transitions from the outside of the ship to the inside and instead of cutting the music, it keeps playing giving off the idea that we were seeing the outside of the ship in real time and it transitions into the inside.

There is a part in the movie where Ant-man is sitting on a bench eating a taco, a ship lands blowing it out of his hand and then hulk gives him another one, music then begins to play, hulk walks away to the beat of the music as it cuts to a scene where they are in a truck with the music still playing, this is different to the first music cut as instead of being at the same time, it cuts to a different point in time whilst playing the same music, this is a good use of the music as it changes the general mood of the film because the music sounds cheerful despite the previous events.
